Lake Superior Marine Museum

Drawing more visitors than any other museum on Lake Superior. Film shows, model ships and exhibits featuring the commercial shipping of Lake Superior and the Duluth-Superior Harbor. Open year-round. No admission. Programs always free.

Bayfront Festival Park

Bayfront Festival Park has a variety of event and activities throughout the year. In the winter months, there is ice skating, lights and the annual Bentlyville Festival of Lights. In the summer enjoy an exciting array of festivals that feature music and food.

Lakewalk / Baywalk

This 4.2 mile pathway named the Duluth Lakewalk traces the shore of Lake Superior, and fronting the Duluth downtown area featuring the beauty of Lake Superior and the fascinating lure of a working port with foreign and domestic vessels sailing nearby. 

Great Lakes Aquarium

 The 62,000-square-foot Aquarium houses over 200 different species of fish, birds, reptiles, amphibians and mammals. It is one of few aquariums in the United States that focuses predominantly on freshwater exhibits featuring animals and habitats found within the Great Lakes basin and other freshwater ecosystems such as the Amazon River. Plenty of interactive exhibits and re-created habitats are fun and educational for children.
